the value of a personal blog

My blog is a tool to facilitate my reaserch. A tool I can use to pick up from where I left off, so I can finish my train of thought from anywhere I have access to the Web. A medium to make my efforts more valuable by distrubuting what I have learned to the general public, who can offer suggestions, new leads, or stand on the shoulders of my efforts to further thier own benefits, which may just be my own.
